I’m looking for a monster that someone has modeled in Zbrush or is willing to make for our movie. We are the Phoenix Filmmakers Club, a small group of film makers in the Phoenix area who make movies. The movie is called Orn and it’s a sci/fi horror film about a hungry alien creature stranded in the Arizona desert. It was shot with no budget and filmed in HD here in Phoenix, Arizona.
I am a newbie to zbrush, so I have no real experience in modeling a creature for the film, but since seeing what can be done with the program, I can’t think of a better way to make our creature. However, someone with the experience and knowledge of the program will be able to do better job.
If you wish to submit your model to us for examination (just photos) we’ll look it over. If your model is accepted as the Orn, the alien creature for this film, you will receive full screen credits, a copy of the movie on DVD and a contract for a percentage of the films net take should it be sold for distribution. Everyone involved in this project hasn’t been paid anything yet.
Since we are a small group film makers, we don’t have any money. So all of our films are done with little or no budget by talented and gifted people who contribute to the production. If you want to make monsters for film, this is a good opportunity to start. We also will need a humanoid alien model for the film also. Same deal applies to whom ever contributes that model. The models must be transfered to an OBJ file for use in an animation program.
This film is 90% finished. The monster is all that remains for us to finish this film and get it ready for distribution. A script is available on our web site.

We are looking for CGI artists to join us from around the country. If your local, that would be better but out of state artists are OK. Since you work on your own for the most part. You’ll be sent the contract and all the details of what information we need from you.
