I don’t know if I missed this bit of information but I didn’t see it addressed.

I want to add wrinkles to a figure or clothing. I don’t want the item to be overly poly heavy. Most tutorials show sub dividing but that makes it very heavy.

Is there a rule of thumb for adding enough wrinkles to make an item interesting but not over the top poly heavy? Some kind of ratio per size?
