Wasteland Warmachines - 1:12 scale

A set of 3 vehicles I did for the upcoming ‘Wasteland Warmachines’ Kickstarter. Modeled for 1:12 scale print.

This was actually the first one I did. I modeled it originally around 7 or 8 years ago, but it was all edge extrusion modeling/sub-D, so I had to rebuild it almost from scratch to make it print ready and beef up all the components to minimum print specs. This was all done in Zbrush.
All resin support work and print tests done by Atlas 3D support Solutions(image below of the 3 printed vehicles)

These other 2 vehicles were modeled entirely in VR in Substance Modeler. All polishing, print prep, cleaning, and keying were done in Zbrush.

Really nice work here! Great clean, crunchy detail but not too perfect–I like the welded transitions on the form :+1:

Thanks Paul. :+1:

Thanks @Spyndel Yes, a big part of the intention here was to try and move away from the ‘too clean’ hard-surface look and try and achieve an almost hand-made feel.

And of course, chunky always looks great in print.

Awesome, I love them all ! Looking forward to seeing them painted / textured.
