WANTED: Talented artists for "Living Sculptures" art project

Hello! I’d like to see if anyone is interested in helping me create something I call “living sculpture.” The basic idea behind living sculptures is to create sculpture-like scenes (see pictures below), then partially bring them back to “life”, animating portions of the statues. For examples, look at the pictures and descriptions below:

At first glance, the scene would appear the same as it does in the screenshot, but upon closer inspection the viewer would notice that the spaceship is gently hovering, the drone’s eyes were moving, and the lights on the platform flicker on and off. Every 5-10 seconds, the spaceship’s thrusters might turn on briefly. Every 15-30 seconds, the drone would circle around the craft inspecting it. Clicking on certain sections of the statue would trigger specific actions. Clicking on the ****pit would open it temporarily. Clicking on the platform would trigger changes in the lighting, as well as rotate the dials on the platform.
I think gaming technology has come a long way over the past few years, and I think that too often we limit ourselves by thinking that gaming technologies, such as Unity, can only be used to produce games, instead of art. My hope is that by doing this project, people will see and think of even more incredible ways to use gaming technology as an artistic medium.

I think letting viewers freely rotate and zoom the camera around the statues, in addition to actions/animations that can be triggered within each statue, will encourage people to explore the details of each piece, almost like an intriguing puzzle. I do realize that some pieces, such as replicas of older statues and historical pieces, may not benefit as much from triggered animations, so I am also open to the idea of less interactive, but equally beautiful pieces.

I've recently purchased a license to Unity Pro and plan on using it for this project. I am a programmer, fairly new to Unity, but not to programming itself, as I've completed a few of game development projects. I'm seeking artists interested in working with me to produce a few living sculptures. Unfortunately, I cannot pay anyone to work, but there are a lot of good reasons to work on a project like this for free:
  1. For the love of art
  2. You'll be given a ton of creative freedom
  3. This project allows you to exhibit your art in a new way
  4. The pieces created would make a great addition to a portfolio
  5. You retain all the rights to your art!
My goal is to showcase each piece in the best possible light I can, not only for the sake of the art, but out of respect for the artists involved. Once created, the living sculptures will be made freely available, either downloadable or viewable online, depending on how well the art works in the web-player. If enough pieces are created, I would consider the possibly of hosting the pieces on a unique domain. Every piece will display the artist or artists' names and contact information (email, website, etc.) as well as a short description of the piece. Of course, a copy of the piece will be given to each artist to display on their website or wherever they please.
I realize this is an unusual project, so if you have any questions about the project, please post a reply or private message me. If you are interested in helping out, please send me a private message so we can further discuss the details.

I'm always looking for feedback, so if you have suggestions on how I can improve this project, please let me know.

I am in no way affiliated with the Museum of the Improbable, just a fan of their work. :)
