Hello to zbrush community…man, my first post here!
My journey in sculpting now started with this post and I have a bunch of questions before doing anything (almost, because I did somethings in the past ).
Here comes the first ones:
I currently studied the anatomy…I mean namings, major functions, start and insertion of muscles, Bones, etc and I hope they aren’t enough for to being a great sculptor…there is lots of things that I need to study and learn…but that can be a good start!..one of things that bothering me lots of time is that I don’t have drawing ability…and when I read backgrounds of masters like Cesar Dacol, Zack Petroc, Ryan Kingslien to just name a few…most of them comes from Traditional Arts like sculpting, drawing, etc to digital world…so what should I do FIRST (what is good to do FIRST actually)?
I can see thousends of really cool video/DvD trainings or tutorials all over the net from ZB Centeral to Gnomon to CG Society and other CGCGs…and I tried some of them plus learning the tools and workflows of zbrush…but now I think some thing is lost and is not good about me …I think I need to just put the zb off for now and start to learn drawing or something …maybe I’am not so talented at Organics/Sculpting but I love to have great sculptings with zb! and I love the hard works that I have to do to reaching to that level BUT I’m a little confused here…NEED your Suggestions and Ideas really guys! so let me know the BEST way to start my journey…
Thanks in advance
the best advice i can give, is just start. there is no right way or wrong way. just start sculpting and see what happens. the use of reference images is pretty much standard procedure. good luck
