Wacom pen pressure issue

Hey guys,

I’ve got a new computer and wanted to get a little deeper into zBrush. The problem I am having is that the pen pressure seems not to be working correctly. It keeps on popping back to max half of the time. I got the latest drivers for my Intuos4 and in photoshop it works just fine. Any suggestions why this is happening?

I recorded a quick video so you can see what I mean:

One way very drastic to solve the problem, temporarily, is to got to services, locate the Wacom one and restart it.
Some people say that simply clicking outside of Zbrush solve the problem , but it did’t work for me. Perhaps works for you.

I need to say that I have that problem for certain periods, recently has disappear. No idea of his origin.

I know that Photoshop can lose the pen pressure temporally when another problem remove the focus, as for example a pop screen, message etc. Even if these return the focus immediately to Photoshop it can affect him. Not sure if this is the case here but I did removed messages popping around to be sure.

Nope, clicking outside of zBrush made the pressure sensitivity disappear completely and restarting the service didn’t do anything. But thx for trying to help

After reinstalling zBrush and my wacom drivers several times I eventually downloaded an older driver from http://us.wacom.com/en/support/legacy-drivers/. It seems to be working now.
I was using WacomTablet_6.3.14-1 which seems to cause that funny behavior. WacomTablet_6.3.11w3 seems to be wokring fine.
