wacom large intous 4 scaled down to intous 3 6X8 how?

hey just upgraded to intous 4 due to having a run in with my friends puppy getting loose and destroying it when we were gone.

so i just got an intous 4 large and i was wondering what i would need to do to customize it to the proportions and size of my previous intous 3 6X8… in a way i miss having the different size buttons on the intous 3 medium tablet seemed like they worked better for sculpting in zbrush but at the same time the new intous takes less pressure to detect and has twice the sensitivity and the adjustable wheel customizable up to 4 settings… would like it to act the same as the intous 3 6x8 tablet surface wise… any help pixologic can shed on this would be greatly appreciated… thanks ahead of time…

i’m guessing you mean is that the drawing surface is too large for your arm movements, if so you need to change the mapping in the wacom tablet properties, you just click the two corners of how big you want your workspace to be, the only issue with doing this is that sometimes you’ll move your pen outside of that space, this can be resolved by putting some masking tape on your surface(it won’t damage it) along the invisible edges you have created.
about the pressure settings, i suggest you adjust them in the tablet preferences instead of zbrush settings, unless you always use the Global setting now for zbrush, otherwise each brush has its own pressure settings. In the tablet pref you’ll probably want to make it a little harder to replicate what you’re used to, its all feel of course.
btw how bad did the dog eat the tablet? maybe it can be repaired. if you’re going to just throw it out i’d like to have it for parts.
hope this helps-a
