Wacom Intuos 4 and Zbrush 4 Problem [Solved]

Ok I’ve been using a wacom intuos for about a month now with next to no problems with Zbrush 3.5, with zbrush on one screen and reference or whatever on a second screen. I just installed Zbrush 4 and now the tablet won’t work correctly in zbrush only. The tablet area only covers half of the Zbrush window on the main monitor (the right side) and when I press the ‘Toggle Display’ button which would normally move the cursor over to my 2nd monitor, it moves the cursor over to the second half of my main monitor (the left side). It wont account for the whole monitor space :frowning:

I’ve reinstalled 4.0, the wacom drivers (plus played about with the settings) and turned tablet pc off in windows 7 but still no fix. It wouldn’t be so much of an issue atm but it’s screwed up 3.5 too and now its doing the same thing. Anyone got any suggestions/ideas?

Ok so I hunted through the old Troubleshooting forum and voila, I found someone with a similar problem and asked them how to fix it (as it wasn’t in the thread). It was a wacom driver issue I was using the newest one from wacom (1.15-3) and he advised I uninstall this, restart my computer and install the older 1.12-5 driver instead and it worked like a charm!

Fat-Fish,

Cheers for this. I was having trouble with this issue. I did a search on the forum but found nothing… but good old Google did the trick.

I’ve rolled back the driver from 6.1.6-7 to 6.1.5-3a.

6.1.5-3a driver Wacom working like a charm with Intuos 3 tablet and ZBrush4.

Thanks!
