Just an FYI. I purchased a Cintiq 3 years ago and been very happy with it until now.

The power plug is no longer staying connected so the charging is continuously interrupted. I contacted Wacom and they extended the warranty for the power plug to three years due to issues in the first iteration design (which I own) that caused a lot of returns.

Well my system is 3 years and 4 months old and Wacom told me it will cost $1000.00 to fix the power plug.

I had my Samsung windows tablet that was like 5 years old that I did my zbrush and photoshop on. Everything is working fine but the battery bloated and died. Samsung did not even give me an option to pay for it to be fixed.

This is why I don’t purchase these systems anymore. They are gimmicks, that’s all they are. A good old laptop with an Intuos works fine and in the end the artworks are all that matters.
