Messing round with this texture and it came out ok,so I thought I’d put it up 4 anyone who like 2 give it try.
1.model basic shape.
2.add texture ,make alpha
3.Infate…Viola instant hair 
eg. 
texture.
Left click on image ,save as.

Nice work. I am not modeling too many images which need hair, but I can see where this technique would be extreamly useful to members who do. It has a very wig like look !
