Awesome! I have a few crits, but this is one of the best venoms I have seen lately. The fingers seem waxy and I think could benefit by being a tad bit more skeletal. They look lumpy right now. I like the zbrush render best btw.

As I said on dA, the area around his eyes ought to be “cleaner”, or sharper. This is also a problem with the spider on his chest. Maybe give him new topology around these areas.
Apart from this, its excellent Truly marvelous

My god man, I love these artists that are like ya I was just sitting at home bored one night so I decided too, you know, model a big freeken cool rendition of venom. No big deal;)

Great job on the anatomy I’ll be over here with my pencil playing hang man by myself.
As for optimally showing the forms, that gray Tpose render is my favorite of all. The material shows off your slulpt even better than the others. Really those 2 materials are badass.

nice muscle sculptin dude…i like it… he looks pritty scary to me…and the render is nice in max… did you bake the material from zbrush or what …how did you get the shader in max??? uv in max or in zbrush ??? can you tell us the process…cheers…

Thanks a lot jadedsoul! No I didn’t bake the material (I wish I knew how) I made some textures and I made my shaders with some standard material and some with fastskin materials. then I made different passes that I composited in max (it’s always how they do it in cinematics)

thanks for the info…so you use the sss fss, did you use maps for the dermal layers or just play with the default setting… and u say you composite in max…is that in vid post?
