UVMaster - seam problem

I’ve been spending way too much time on this, and I hope there is something simple that I’m missing.

I can not get UVMaster to use a logical seam.

Default unwrap showing seams - this is almost perfect:

I don’t want this gap in my UVs.

I’ve tried control painting, changing the groups, everything I can think of, but I can’t get it to work.

What criteria is UVMaster using to determine this?

Is there something simple I can do to fix this?

UV Master isn’t really a set of rules…more what you’d call guidelines.

If you want to weld that point and control painting isn’t working you’ll want to take that mesh into another program and weld that UV together and then just simply import the mesh again.
