Uv super question

I’ve got a sub-divided polymesh 3d cylinder that was created from the cylinder primitive with the default uv’s. However, you can see from the texture map that the boxes are squished. This is in-turn effecting the results I’m getting from Noisemaker because you can see that the circles are also squished and looking more like ovals. Anyone have any idea how to can resolve this? I’m essentially trying to get a proportional texture map wrapped around a cylinder without distortion.

Well you can remesh it with Dynamesh or ZRemesher.
