Uv mapping problem

I am pretty new to Z-brush and not sure if this is the correct way to do this , so I am going to explain what exactly I did:

1: I made a model in Google Sketchup and exported it to obj format.
2: Imported to Z-brush.

Model with polyframe on: https://s17.postimg.org/wnznbggfj/model_with_polyframe.png

3: I go to Uv-master and click on unwrap.
Uv map: https://s17.postimg.org/e0rjhjrcf/uv_map.png

4: Then I go to texture map->create->new from uv map. And I get the uv map wrapped around my model (it has some funky colors for some reason…)

Now I want to paint on the uv map/texture that was just created. To do that I go to:

5: projection master->drop now.
6: Then I paint a simple color on part of the model and after I am done I disable the projection master.

After finishing coloring and picking up : https://s17.postimg.org/z7va5k3zj/painting_model_after_picking_up.png

Now here is the problem , after I finish painting and click pickup some of the parts that I just painted do not remain painted. The color there just disappears or moves to a completely different part of the model. I suspect that the uv map that was created is wrong since it looks a-bit strange but I dont have much experience with this so I cant be sure.
