hey buds … i was just wondering if anybody knows a great tut for creating a uv map in 3d max 5 or 4,… i have a 3d character that needs to be textured but i dont want to export into zbrush i want to try and do this the hard way,… that way i can learn max alittle,… basically what i want to do is create uv cors, transfer the map with texporter plugin and use photoshop to texture the map… if anybody can help me please let me know. thanks
have you tried the tutorial that comes with the program in the tutorial, I think it was something about texturing a low poly spaceship, it helped me alot, basicly its alot of trial and error with uv mapping.
