UV Mapper - Using GoZ and Cinema 4D

Hello

This might be an issue that has come up before, but after a search of the forums and google, I haven’t gotten any further, so I hope you’ll don’t mind me asking a “newbie” question.

I’ve created a model in Cinema 4D, and have exported it to ZBrush using GoZ (which worked like a dream!). I’ve always created my UV-Maps with Bodypaint, but after seeing ZBrush’s UV-Mapper, I was very intrigued I decided to go and try it out!

Well, the first part goes ok, getting my model into ZBrush, using UV-Mapper, but I’m completely stuck at how to get my model back into C4D with my created UV-Map… I’m most likely missing something small but vital, but just clicking GoZ doesn’t do the trick. I get a dialogue box, something seems to connect, but nothing happens in C4D…

I can export my model with UV coördinates as an OBJ, and it’s workable - no problem!, but I just have a feeling that GoZ should be able to do this too, right?

I hope someone can show me the light, I would really much appreciate it!

Oh, some tech spec’s; I’m working on a Mac, with C4D 11 and ZBrush 3.2

Greets,
Kim

once you have used the UV Master you already have the uv map for export, you can also make a texture from the uv map and GOz then in bodypaint you wil see your uv map
