Does enyone know that you can increase the performance of your drawing tablet by placing a thin mirror on top of your tablet and your pen will glide smoothly on the surface.( mirror is smoother then transperent glass ).

good tip
personnaly I prefer to draw without touching the tablet… as an aerospray.
you will not damage the point of pen.
That’s funny: I prefer to have the feel of “traditional” working with a pencil, so I cover that piece of plastic with drawing paper. Need that grip!!
Actually I have opened a large book and placed it on my tablet and have been able to draw through it.

I use mine on top of a toaster oven, and get lunch at the same time.
these are good tips
where is the cheapest place to buy replacement nibs for a Graphire in the US, or is Wacom the only source?
From my experience, as long as you do not drop your pen on a cement floor too often, with the mirror on top it actually prolong the life span of the nib.
The nib is made of nylon and will roughen the mirror after a while, so I bought a pack of mirrors( 9pcs ) and will lasts for two to three years intensive use.
