Personally, I think it’s a corporate move. Since the internet, it’s easy to get movies and stuff. They (corporate America) want to control the market so they put these laws into place to ensure that their fat wallets are always full.
Funny, I’m doing a paper on globalisation so I’m starting to see the world in a more greed-ridden perspective.

No disrespect to the individuals but the actions it’s shown in recent years hasn’t actually been true to those words.
