Updates for Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard)?

I know the mac user base is already being treated very kindly with the free Windows license switch for 3.1. Asking can’t hurt though. With Leopard out and its new abilities, is there a possibility of seeing an update to 2.03 that would let Leopard users take advantage of some of the new features? Or since zbrush is mainly cpu driven and not opengl, are there not many advantages to gain from the new mac OS?

have a great thanksgiving weekend everyone. If you’re not from the states, you can just have a good weekend.

As far as I know, all efforts are on providing Mac users with ZBrush 3.1 just as soon as possible.

I can see the steam from over the mountains. Looks good to me!

Has there been any further word from Pixologic on when they will release ZBrush 3.1 for OS X Leopard?

Aurick has estimated very late February, though that could slip a bit.

Aurick’s exact quote, from about three days ago, was: “I was told this morning that we are still on track for a February release. I am still guessing that it would be toward the very end of the month, though. And keep in mind that it could be delayed if any unforseen issues arise.”

Thanks for the update. Im going to keep an eye on that thread from now on, no point in having multiple threads for the samething. Its great that aurick is willing to be as informative as he can be, I can’t think of another highend 3D software company that will provide this kind of development progression updates for their users in such an open forum. Pixologic is the type of company I dream to do business with, plain and simple.
