You folks will remember that my wife broke her leg on Christmas day. Well she went to the doctor on the 14th. and X-Rays were taken. callus is forming but at her age it is gooing to be a slow process. I have to take her back to the doctor on the 20th. of Feb. and another X-Ray will be taken, depending on how much calus is formed the size of the cast will be reduced to below the knee, it is now mid thigh. She is learning to cope an is in good spirits. she has asked me to thank you all for your good wishes and concern.
To the Mrs…My wife and I hope you the best on your recovery and we wishyou a speedy one. Thank God it wasnt your hip or worse. Keep the hubby of yours in line and we hope he is doing a good job of waiting on you
Sincerely Yours,
Ron and Teresa Harris
I truly hope her recovery time is as brief as possible. People like her who displayed that kind of heroism, well, they deserve God’s (or Nature’s, whatever you believe) best efforts of repair.
Sounds like you’ve been blessed to have her by your side, DeeVee!
Thanks so very much for your wishes. I will certainly pass them on to her.
What sort of break was it. I know it was a tib fib. Was it comminuted? Or was it a compound fracture. Or not as bad?
It was a clean break of both bones. The good thing is that the bones remained in faily good position. the Tib. being obout 10 degrees off. The skin was not broken so that reduced problems.
