Amazon labels it as just “Indroducing ZBrush” but look at the cover! Could this mean that new Zbrush books will talk about features from 3.5 to 4 already?? Like that anatomy book mentioned in a previous thread?
I’d imagine the author is a beta tester.
What! introduction to zbrush 4 ! damn haha maybe blaine his right!, cuz Eric Keller is a certified instructor from Pixologic, he is great but, wow! im gonna preorder that book! ahaha
Bet you anything that book will either get delayed or turned into “Introducing ZBrush 3.5”.
click on the cover to see preview. No Z4 anymore, cover is different.
i see this book beying deleyed at least 10 times ;f
the bug on the cover looks amazing. but the medusa is in some other book too. but this is strange. It is almost like a spoiler…lol.but th eindex mentions nothing about the new features. anyway, that bug seems to have hdri and depth of field effects and AO. is it real time? one can speculate as much as one wants but when 3.5 is out we will all know.
You would have to have the program to follow the book.
Edit: I personally feel that the definitive book on Zbrush will
someday be written by Matthew Yeller ( Aurick).
Hopefully someday he will be given, or make, the time required.
Whenever it happens, he is assured of one customer.
If you look in the index in the book, there is nothing about the new function as Sphere’s II ect… so this is a book about ZBrush (the fouth book Edition)
This may just be a place holder for the book. The cover image may not even be final depending on when its to be published. The view of the contents just looks like that from the old edition of the book.

make that 2, …
bic, aurick did write a zbrush book but for unknown reasons it was cancelled, i personally feel sorry for him, i’m sure he had put a lot of work into it.
Amazon clearly states that that preview is from the fourth edition and not this new edition.
yes, it says
just so you know…
You originally clicked on the Paperback edition (2010) from Sybex. You are looking at the Paperback edition (2008) from Sybex. If you add this book to your cart, you’ll get the edition you originally clicked on.

The author’s a salesman

My knowledge of anatomy is still in the formative stages. I’m working on the hand which seems a bit small at this point.
I leave you to ‘make of that statement’ what you will
I’m just gonna wait 'til the book is out. I might be dead before it gets published.:o
well Atwooki the book’s probably about the software not about sculpting skills - you don’t need to be an awesome sculptor to know how hammer and chisel work… but yeah, it’s just a placeholder
