i forgot how to unwrap my texture to the document window so i can paint it and reapply to the model.I think it involved markers , but i forgot how? i left my book at work.Any help appreciated.
Hi,
i don’t understand well your problem, but…
- From Object to texture:
Use Tools.Modifiers.Texture.Col>Txr button with appropriate texture size - From texture to canvas
Use Flat Material, RGB=100, Fill Layer (CTRL-F).
Hope this helps.

I painted my model with texture master. Now I want the texture unwrapped on the document window so I can paint it or if i choose save it a a file. i hope that is clearer.
You can also
Just clone the texture in Menu Texture
Clear the screen ctrl + N
Fill the screen as Cameyo said
Make your painting transformation
Grabb it
Et Voila you have a new texture

Bonjour mon ami. Comee va tu. Vive la France.HEHEH! Ah! Forgive me , but how does one grab it? Merci beaucop.
After using texture master a map is put into the texture window.
Export it as a psd file.
new document/ import psd file.
document is now your texture file and you may paint etc.
Export this file psd
New document -import newly created texture file into texture.
Sounds harder than it is.
Or
keep same file open export texture file as psd file into photoshop, adjust there, reimport same file into texture window(don’t change size)
Or
Wait 10 days and see how much of this has changed.
The easiest approach is simply to clear your canvas, resize it to match the texture size, and (with your texture selected in the Texture palette) press Ctrl+F (Layer>Fill). The layer will be filled with the texture and current material, and since the document size matches the texture size it won’t be distorted.
Depending on your needs, you may find benefit from using a material other than Flat Color. For example, a great way to add pores to skin or a “softness” to flower petals is to use the Basic material and add a touch of noise. You can easily adjust the material’s Ambient value to brighten it up a bit and keep the colors from fading.
By the way, Z2 will make things even easier with the “Crop and Fill” button. One click resizes your canvas and fills it.
In other words, wait 10 days!
