Unified Skin doesn't work correctly

Hello, I was trying to learn more about Projection Master and got stuck with a problem with “unified skin”:

I looked at that Tutorial “Projection Master with Sebastien Legrain - Part 1”, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the first step with “unified skin”.

  • the interface looks different
  • I can set my resolution at lowest only 16 (not 8 as he says in the tutorial)
  • but most important, my newly created “unified skin”-object has wrong topology (see attached screenshots).
    (one is the result and the other two compare the beginning of video and my own test.
    (It doesn’t matter if I am in Edit mode or not.)

It seems like this tut is for ZBrushCore…

Many thanks for reply, but I think it must work the same way also with zBrush 4R7-application.

Has anybody else any idea?

Works for me, but minimum resolution is 16 now. You then “Reconstruct Subdiv” once to get 8. That is an old tutorial. Are you using version 4R7 P3 ?

Yes, I’m using 4R7 P3 (x64)…

That’s what I’m using and it works OK for me. Doing what I described above, these are my results.

That tutorial was made for version 3 I believe.

Lol… And I was thinking on ZBrushCore… That gizmo confused me, I guess… :slight_smile:
