undo to include everything? like rotation of the mesh?

Hello guys,

is there a setting that would allow me to undo for everything? so lets say i move the object aside to check something but the wanna put it back. (i have reference in spotlight) can i do that? its a bit annoying to always align the reference once i move the mesh. same goes for rotation etc
is it possible please?

http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/preferences/undo-history/

thank you but i couldnt find the answer there. does that mean its not possible? any plugins that would do that?

Why don’t you just hide the subtool rather than moving it, or turn on transparency? Max Undo history should be per subtool. Never seen a script for it. Marcus, beta_channel, zber2?

You can’t Undo basic navigation in ZBrush. You can Undo transforms like Move, Scale, Rotate (W, E, R).

However, the Timelinewill save navigation keyframes and allow you to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to switch between frames.

I use the timeline to store views when sculpting. or imageplane.

timeline to store views? you mean like a keyframe in maya that would give me a pose? Hmm, that might just solve my problem, will look into it.

The reason I wanted to do that is because I always make a mistake and moved the model etc so simple undo would be faster for me. I guess once i get efficient then those mistakes will not happen so often but now its crazy. Its so different to maya’s navigation
thank you guys

Yep, just like a keyframe in Maya on the camera.
