Undo part of model

Hi, I’ve done some work on one side on a model having accidentally messed up the other side having not noticed. Is there a way somehow to store this part of the model while reinstating the previous part which I was happy with before, please. I do have a saved file with the now messed up side the way it should be and at the moment I can undo to that state too.

Thanks for any advice.

Forgot to say there are no subdiv levels and I’m just turning on dynamic subivision to see how It’ll look when subdivided in another 3D program.

Hi @marinade

Not a 100% sure what you are asking here. Did you want to regain symmetry that you have lost or do you just want to fix a part of your mesh. If you want to regain symmetry, you can just use Mirror And Weld in Tool > Geometry. Facing the front, the left side will be mirrored over to the right side. You can use Mirror in Deformation subpalette to flip your mesh if needed . If you want to fix a part on the bad mesh using the good mesh, see if the following video helps.

Good luck!
