Hello one question.
Does anyone know why this error appears in Zbrush 2022, I’m using a MacStudio M1, and what I did was: subdivide my character, obtaining 600,000 half a million active points, and then I asked, remesh DOUBLE…
and this message came out, and I can’t do the remesh.
any ideas ?
Any comments will be very appreciated.

Hi @untalmau ,
A number of things are possible.
-
The mesh may be reporting errors with Geometry> mesh Integrity> Check mesh. Errors like these can cause issues with many functions in ZBrush.
-
There could be a symmetry conflict. Sometimes users will remesh with Symmetry active but may have other instructions active that conflict. For instance, attempting to Zremesh with Symmetry active with non-symmetrical ZRemesher guide curves active on both sides of the mesh will cause problems. Try deactivating symmetry and see if it works.
-
The combination of settings may be too ambitious. For instance the “Freeze borders” option makes the process much more complicated, and may fail to work with some other settings.
-
If you get this issue with any mesh you try to ZRemesh, even the meshes that come with ZBrush, there may be either an issue with your installation, or something on your system interfering with the plugin’s ability to write files.
Note: ZRemesher is best used as a polygon reduction tool. The standard subdivision process is a more reliable and predictable way to add geometry to your mesh.
…
If none of the above seems to apply , please contact Maxon Support and provide the mesh for examination.
Thank you!
thansk so mush …
