unable to hide selections on Mac

For some reason I can’t get the lasso working to select areas that I want to hide or unhide. Pressing ‘control’ and ‘shift’, together do nothing. Shouldn’t it turn the draggaable selection box green or red?

thx

If you’re using an emulator, like Parallels, make sure that the emulator’s keyboard settings aren’t grabbing ctrl-shift-click for something like emulating the right mouse button.

Thanks for that tip. But where does one go to see if Parallels is using those keyboard combos?

There is another thread on this. Just do a search for Parallels. It includes all the information you need.

Paralles Desktop menu -> Preferences -> Keyboard tab

Thank you kind sirs. Works like a charm! Do you recommend any particular setup with zb3 and parallels? (Of course depends on the specific configs of other apps, but do you?)

thanks again.

As much memory as you give. WinXP. Wacom tablet via USB 2.0 plugging into Parallels. Full Screen mode.

Minimize other running programs. Get a program like Menu Meters and monitor your memory intially to make sure that there is small amount of memory (about 5-10%) available at all times or you’ll start getting to much into swapping which will cause odd and eratic slowdowns of ZB.
