ZBrushCentral

Unable to access FAQ in forum

HI, i have recenlty purchased, installed, and activated a copy of ZBrush4. I have also registered with Zbrush Central under this user name. However when I try to view threads in the FAQ it denies me access. Please help.

I have no idea what could be happening. I actually logged out of ZBC to make sure that the FAQ is visible with no permissions at all. So I have no idea why you would be unable to view it.

I get this message:
"
iRocks, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

It’s possible that there’s something odd about the permissions for an account that is in moderation status so that the FAQ forum isn’t visible. I’ll have to check with our IT manager to see if that’s the case and get if fixed.

When your account changes to not be on moderated status anymore (most likely happening very soon) you’ll then definitely be able to see the FAQ. For now, as you noted you can simply log out and view it.

OK my SSD HDD has just died thanks to OCZ Technology, however i was able to login from another computer.
It does not say anywhere that my account is still under moderation. As far as i know I should be a full member by now. However it still does not let me access these pages when logged in, is there not a way that my status can be fast tracked to fix this problem?

Your account gets upgraded automatically after a certain period of time and number of posts. You haven’t hit it yet, although it will most likely be very soon.

You’ll get all the same info, though at http://www.pixologic.com/docs and the other links in my signature. Those locations are not linked to ZBC and aren’t moderated because the public can’t modify them.
