I am proud to finally be able to publish my work called Ukraine, based on the statue in the centre of Kyiv — Motherland. I decided to represent Ukraine as a warrior woman who defends her land. My idea was to escape the robustness of the original statue and represent not only the strength of Ukraine but the grace and beauty.
I started to make this art piece dedicated to Ukraine, support and compassion from the first day of the invasion, until today this piece has been completely redone 4 times and finally, I managed to reach a result that I really like.
I want to remind you that the war is still going on and that we must remember the value of life and freedom that we have today.
