Uk zbrushers into modeling for ut2007

Im just getting stuck into using zbrush and wondering if there are others out there who like myself want to use it for making models to go in Ut2007 when it comes out.I have made a few for Ut2004 but zbrush is looking so cool for modeling right now I have left maya on the shelf.Zbrush is just wonderful full stop.So any UT 2007 fans out there making models with zbrush?

An interesting concept. I would do be doing that, but only whence ut07 is actually out. Otherwise, you have no way of knowing the documentation and requirements that the game engine may have so you can get it ingame!

UT07 will definately catch my eye whence it comes out though. It is the perfect vessel for realtime representations of characters made in Zbrush. The only problem is the rigging might be slightly more complicated (The UT engine site states that each character uses about 200 bones I think!). Let’s hope it comes with an autorigger similar to Half Life 2’s XSI addon.

Im hoping I can avoid rigging as I have done in ut2004 by using the epic default skeletial rig.But epic are pretty cool at giving us what we need in regard to creating extra content for there games.In fact if there was one reason that I love the UT games so much its because I can recreate the game to my own designs.I wish they would open a window on there creation process while making ut2007 so we could learn from there design teams.:slight_smile:
