I’ve created UDIMs in another software and when I bring that model back to ZBrush 2022, the UV Map section shows the UVs, but UV Master does not. I just have so many questions about all of this.
I’m trying to create a cavity mask and it looks fine until I create the texture from it. Then it’s all spotty. I can’t repack the UV islands to eliminate the overlapping because UV Master doesn’t see them.
I’m also wondering if I do repack them, will I lose the UDIMs when exporting again?
My workflow has been to export a low poly model, create the UVs in another software, bring the model back to ZBrush with the UVs and project the details onto it. This being my first attempt with UDIMs I’m wondering if this no longer a viable workflow.
Can anyone make suggestions about this or point me in a better direction?
