Spaced throughout zbrush there are many mentions made of video
(tutorials) etc.
Many such as the ones from gnomon are of quality and with a recognized
name.
Some however are not.
Based on a few incidents over the past few days, I advise my fellow members
to use common sense in giving out personal information to persons
or organizations that they know little about.
This is not in the nature of a complaint but a general common sense warning.
What recent incidents? I don’t understand the warning? Did someone take credit for other peoples work or something else?
You should always be careful about who you give your personal information to online. Never give out your credit card or any other sensitive information unless you’re sure that it’s to a legitimate, respected company. Also, always make sure that the page requesting such information is secure. The address will begin with https instead of the usual http.
Oh gotcha!!! Yep lots o’ peops out to scam you. Kinda messed up how there are so many things to worry about on the web. Seems that you always have watch out for BS. and thought that most people were trustworthy!!
I’m curious…what actually happened? Is there someone selling bogus DVDs?
