Tutorial: Displacement mapping with 3dsMAX and Zbrush

Hi all

I have just started getting into ZBrush, and today I concentrated on displacement mapping, and I think I finally figured everything out :O)

Thanks a billion for posting this. I’ve been trying to get this working for a while now and this was the clearest explanation on the topic to date. Your grasp of both programs is fantastic and a real step forward.

the luminance center in the displace modifier is used to tell max which level of gry is zéro

so if you use a luminance center of 0.5, 50¨% will have no effect, black = -100 and white + 100
