Turntable movie is washed out?

hey all-

i’ve been fiddling with making some turntables, but regardless of what settings i use; regardless of using BPR, frame rate, spin cycles etc.- the movie once saved, always looked very washed out. like you cranked up the brightness control on your TV. alot of extra white information.
after i save the file and export it, it shows the movie as a preview while still in zbrush and it looks like it should- but when i fire up the saved file in quicktime, (or realplayer, etc) it’s all washed out.
any one know what’s up?
thanks!

When you save the quicktime file, what compression do you save it at?
Try saving it with a PNG or Animation compression and see if that helps.

thanks for the tip!
oddly enough- the “jpeg” compression ended up working out the best.
none of the presets (even “none”) ended up being as crisp as the preview movie in zbrush, however.
still a great feature, though.
a great way to archive ones works, aside from screen grabs!
thanks again!
