Turntable limited to 360 frames

Does anyone know if there is anyway to render a 360 degree turntable over more than 360 frames.

For some reason 360 is the largest value zbrush accepts in the frames box.

Why put in a limit?

I want to do a very slow sweep round 180 degrees.

???

You could use TimeLine instead, which will let you do whatever you want.

The turntable feature is basically a quick utility. By definition that means it’s not going to do what everyone needs 100% of the time. When you need more control, just use TimeLine instead. There’s documentation for it in the ZBrush 4\Documentation folder. There are also a couple videos at the top of http://www.pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/ in the scrollbar directly beneath the page banner.

Thankyou, it works a treat.

However there is no reason to have a limit on the no of frames on a turntable animation.

If I want a precise 180 turn over 720 frames it should have be possible if the coders hadn’t put in this arbitary limit.

People are naturaly going to use the software outside of its intended purposes.

Whilst were at it we should be able to put out depth and alpha passes on a sequence of frames.

Anyone know how we go about sugesting features / improvements to pixologic?

Note that if you record a new movie (or use the turntable feature) without deleting the previous movie each new recording is appended to the previous one. You can pretty much record any number of frames.
