I am sorry - I am a relatively easy going person - but what the F**k is this.
Is this an attempt at art or a bad joke or what?
If this is an art attempt then I strongly suggest that you go to an art institute and learn something about art because this seems to be a very naive if not purile effort when one considers the huge number of REAL people that lost their lives not to mention all those that still suffer.
Come on man - get with the real world a bit.
I checked out their homepage. Much of the art there is in the same kind of vein, so I’m thinking this was an honest artistic effort.
but I can do without it.
i think we need to respect the kind of art that all we got inside ourselves.
There is no reason at all to overcome reality or do something amazing for the eyes of you or other people, if in the eyes or him /her its amazing what him/her did .
And so, what to share it, even if him/her doesnt have the ability to master zbrush, it is and it will be cool to take it with care and make him/her comments about it without giving the impression of "you are not for this"but to improove their art.
And not like that so many people loose the interest towards art when people with ur kinds of comments do. I bet u will be so pissed of if i do comment one fo your works like u did.
This is a community like all a big family, and so were here to help, comprehend , and share i say .
And for Jola, u will need to think about the people that find this kind of remembering kind of perturbing and grose. Or if u dont find so, at least comment why is the reason to you do so.
I think you will need to have more consideration for the other people, and so quit or delete this thread, instead of break into a discussion and stole the artistic spirit of this community.
Don’t worry Jola, I liked your picture. There is nothing inappropriate about it.

I dont care how big tragedy was the tsunami, but i think there schould be some respect for the ppl that died then This is just random puted stuff and named tsunami, i think that jola did this just to provocate us. Better clouse this tread becouse many ppl will find this ofensive

So, I’m curious…if this had been a very technically well done piece, complete with beautiful rendering, would it still be deemed as “offensive?”

Its juste an abstract artwork with the thema of the tsunami… Theres no provocation in it…The picture in itself is dedicated to people who suffered… Its even kind from him…
Maybe its not pushed very far technically talking, but fortunalty, its not forbidden to post until your the michelangelo of pixols…
Just try to be a bit open minded, and cool during christmas time…

Anyway I think that JOLA has made a good post,maybe not technically perfect but that’s not illegal…and yet,this is a good way to remember (with respect) the people who suffered and died in that cursed day,isn’t it?
I think that whe should read the JOLA’s work in this way and not as an attempt to provoke people so I only make a clap to him.

She’s another old-timer here, but hasn’t posted anything here in quite some time.

I’m sure that the artwork stings in some people’s eyes, that’s always the problem when you work with any type of art. People either like it or hate it, you can’t possibly please everyone in this type of work we do.
Personally i can say i find nothing wrong with this work, it’s just a artistic personal representation of the horrible tsunami disaster last year.
And don’t let other people’s interpetation of your artwork put you down, if they find it offensive in any way then well …**** happens. But art is art and another way to express and deliver a feeling or a message which is shown in this creation. Not all of us wanna create monsters or humans
