Trying to learn zbrush core and now have an image stuck in my scene/cant remove

So while sculpting a model in zbrush core randomly a side image of my character is now stuck on the screen. Thought it was maybe a visual glitch so I exited the program and reloaded the file but its still there. I have now idea what I did to put it there and have no idea how to get rid of it at all. Does anyone know what I could do to get rid of it? Any help would be welcome, Thank you!!! You see the model that I am working on the right side of the image but the model to the left I cant seem to get rid of.

This occasionally happens - it’s a feature of ZBrush that for some reason happens now and again in ZBrushCore. The developers are aware of the issue!

To solve:

  1. Make sure you save your project through the File>Save As button so you have a copy of your work.
  2. In the Tool palette, make sure your model is selected - it will show in the large thumbnail and the model (with subtools if there are any) will show in the Subtool list.
  3. Press the Copy Tool button at the top of the Tool palette. This copies your model (and any subtools it has) into memory.
  4. Use Lightbox to open a different project such as the PolySphere.ZPR.
  5. Press the Paste Tool button at the top of the Tool palette. This will paste your model into the new project.
  6. Save the project with a new name and then continue working.

HTH,

Thank you so much! This definitely helped. I’m going to post your instructions in the zbrushcore facebook group if that’s cool as users there were not aware of how to solve the issue as well. I will also link to this forum!

You’re welcome! :+1:
