Trying to hide mesh behind mesh.

So, I am curious is there a way to hide a masked off area to get to mesh that is behind it?

Example: a woman holding her arm across her chest and wanting to make the breast realistically squish around said arm a bit so I mask off the arm but then also want to mask off the part of the breast right behind the arm so when I am manipulating the mesh that part doesn’t move. However with the arm in the way that can be hard to do.

This is generally accomplished with polygroups and visibility shortcuts.

Group the parts of the model into logical polygroups (for instance, the arm would be one group), then you need only click to hide and/or mask it.

Also try the Move Topo brush as that generally only moves the group or object it is hovered over, and ignores all else.

thanks I will try both of these… still new to the program, but it is soooo cool the options of what one can do seem limited by imagination
