Trying to get symmetry to work properly on a 3d head scan.

Hey all! First time poster, Very excited.

I bought a 3D head scan of myself to work on some helmets following the zClassroom helmet course - but the symmetry is totally off. As you can see in the attached image, the dots aren’t aligned like they should be, and I’m not entirely sure how I’d fix this.

I think it has something to do with the uneven shoulders, but I’m a freshfaced noob at this and it might just be something to do with the way the model was created/imported?
We used a head scanner to achieve this.

Waiting paitiently,

use the transpose line to move the head to the “center”.

If you happen to have a centered out mesh that zbrush is just bringing in wrong (tool>export at the bottom of the tool panel) with an X offset you can append your mesh to standard 3d mesh and it will remove the X offset

Hey, it seems that we’re following the same course then!
