Hi,
I had a 3 million model initially and I zremeshed it my model but it is worse, i keep having this kind of weird triangle stretched (that i did not have with my 3 million model), even if i increase target polygon or if i use high density polypaint in this area.
Does someone know how to get rid of that ?
Thanks
Hello @123EE_M
This may be a result of your ZRemesher settings, but I couldn’t say without knowing what those are. Try increasing the target polycount to give ZRemesher more polygons to work with, and reducing the AdaptiveSize slider value. The lower the setting, the more ZRemesher will try to evenly distribute square polygons, at the expense of form. You may even have better luck disabling adaptive density altogether.
Remember that when ZRemesher reduces polygons, you will also lose form and detail. You may need to subdivide and project the detail back onto your new mesh to regain it.
Good luck!
My problem came back but on another part of my model between the frontier of my polygroups …
What is the correct use of the zremesher to make the final and nice topology of the model, should I use polypaint to reduce the polygons on the area I don’t care or just let him do the job ? How can I get rid of this problem ? Because even if I zremesh it, the problem is still here
Please Help me , topology drives me insane
