Trees?

Just wondering if anyone’s thought about making a tree generator using the zspheres and making them act similar to an L system? Nothing advanced but just the basic forms of a tree.

Just curious.

Have you tried Digit’s ZifClick? It makes doing trees pretty easy.

Some time ago I did make a tree with a lot of Zspheres(4380), I also used ZifClick.

Hi. I’m working on a project where I want to create a lot of fractal trees and mathematical forms.
I use Maya a lot, and just recently discovered ZBrush so I’m a total newbie.
Those trees look like exactly what I’m trying to do. Where can I find more information on how to use plug-ins, and also, how to write them?
In Maya I know how to do stuff using mel scripting, but what I love about ZBrush is the ability to sculpt details directly, so I’d love to combine scripting with sculpting in ZBrush…

Shmonster, with almost every plugin you can find a tutorial how to use it.
In the ZBrush menu you can find ‘Zscript’ where you can record a script.

check out the stickies in this forum to get you started creating scripts…aside from using the built in zscript maker for recording sessions.

and like bas states they usually come with directions.
