Transpose master vertex count issue

while working with the 4r5 Im getting a Transpose master issue. the model seems to be prepared properly when hitting the TposeMesh button…changes are made etc. When hitting the Tpose to Sub T button however, im getting a Vertex count issue. any one else run into this and is there a solution.

occasionally I’m getting a runtime error when using Tpose Mesh and the program terminates… the active points are 2.100 million total points of the model is 48.33 million, is this an issue with model size? I have been able to use the Tpose functions previously on this model. I’m stumped as to this problem.

Before pressing one of the Transpose Master buttons compact the memory by pressing Preferences>Mem>Compact Now. That should take care of the runtime issue. For the vertex count issue, this may be related to large meshes but I have not been able to duplicate it.

Thanks Marcus. I successfully get the model into transpose however every time I come out Im receiving a Vertex count mismatch message and the subtool is skipped. It does skip all subtools. There are fibers among the subtools. ill remove them and try again to see if there is any difference…nope no difference. perplexing

locked main mem in list out,… mean anything, when trying to come out of transpose I sometimes get this one.

I’ve no idea about that one. If you want to let me test the model I’ll see if I can find what’s going wrong. I have seen the vertex mismatch error on large meshes reported before but have not been able to reproduce to find the fault.

I was getting the “vertex count mismatch” on a single subtool and it was driving me nuts, discovered I had partially hidden part of the subtool that was generating the error prior to using the TPoseMesh feature of Transpose Master. Starting over with the subtool fully visible, then posing, then running TPost > Subtool worked fine without generating the error. Unfortunately it meant recreating the pose - hopefully this will help if anyone else is experiencing this issue.

UPDATE:
Just discovered I was able to use my initial pose if I deleted the hidden faces on the original mesh prior to using TPose > Subtool. This may not be an option for some but it was for me since I didn’t want those faces anyway!

SouleDesigns,
Thanks for letting us know about this. I’ll add a note to the documentation so that other users can avoid the issue.
