Transpose Master Corrupting Subtools, leading to crashing Zbrush 2024

Hi,

I have a model with multiple subtools that would liked to be ‘TposedMeshed.’ however, upon doing so, one of the subtools get corrupted in the process, leading to my zbrush crashing.

BUT. When i import the same model, from a different non - corrupted file, and try to transpose again, it keeps corrupting that same subtool, even though before Transposing,
it was never corrupted.

This is the message i get that pops up.

Much Thanks.

Hello @icyyy ,

Please contact Maxon support for any technical issues with your ZBrush installation. This is not normal program behavior, nor can I immediately repeat it. This will require technical support to evaluate your installation, your process, and possibly to evaluate your mesh for issues with the geometry in your file.

Prior to doing this, please make sure the following are true:

  1. The Tool in question is sending very low-poly geometry to Transpose Master. That feature requires a mesh in very low poly form to work well. The demosoldier.zpr is a good example of a mesh that will perform well with TPM. It has a clean, low poly base and multiple levels of subdivision.

If you send a mesh that is too high in resolution to the feature, it will not perform well and you may even see errors occur or the process fail completely.

  1. Check every subtool of the Tool file for issues with Geometry> mesh Integrity> Check mesh. Any subtool that reports issues here may be considered problematic, and may fail to work with other program features. Crashes and errors associated with subtools with severe issues are expected.

Thank you!
