Transpose-Master and different poses with morph target

Hello,

I have a question, wether it is possible to use Transpose-Master with different poses as morph-targets without rigging:

The following problem:

subtool 1: a person, imported from an other program in standard-pose, e.g. Victoria 4 from Poser
subtool 2. clothing, made with zbrush, fitted to standard-pose of subtool 1

Then: Store Morph-Target from subtool 1
Then: Import obj-File of a posed subtool 1 (posed in Poser). Then I can flip between standard-pose and posed form of subtool 1 with the morph-function of ZBrush.

Is it possible, to transform this new imported pose to of subtool one to subtool 2 (clothing) with transpose-master, and if, how? Up to now, I only was able to successfully use transpose-master for posing directly in zbrush, but not with posing with the morphfunction of zbrush.

Or does anybody know a way to realize my problem in zbrush?

No, I’m afraid that isn’t possible with Transpose Master. The problem is that the clothing can’t be made to move along with the figure. Transpose Master works by combining the subtools so they can be posed as a single mesh before splitting them up again for transferring the pose. Poser works in a different way, by getting the clothing to follow along. The Contact feature is the closest ZBrush has to ‘conforming’ but it does not deform the subtool, only move/rotate it. However, you may find that it helps in what you are trying to do. You’ll have to test it and see. See here:

Thanks for this hint. I still don’t understand really how it works, but I’ll give it a try when I’m back home at my PC. It seems interesting. I never before saw this function in ZBrush.

I’ve put up a bit more information here:

Thanks, I just tried it out and it works quite well.
At my first try, I made the mistake when setting the three points, that my reference-subtool was in ghost-mode, so the 3 lines drawn were not corresponding to the surface, so it didn’t work. But with the correct lines, it worked very well on the soldier.

Thank you very much
