As the title says i didn’t have any idea of how hell make a pause in the course of a script.
Too many of them are too fast running for a perfect idiot in Zbrush like me!

Just move your mouse pointer to the top left of the screen.
sorry, i don’t see how it does work just moving my cursor. i tried but seen nothing happening but the script’s continuation…?!

For Stopping the Zscript
The Aurick’s method (same than reactor) :
Juste amener la souris sur la petite Palette du Logo Zbrush tout en haut de l’écran à gauche !
Mais sans “cliquer” juste “survoler” et la lacher sur place
Le script “stoppe” : on redescend la souris avec elégance : le script repart
Peux pas mieux dire

Yeah, about the corner thingy… you move you mouse up into the very top left hand corner of Zbrush (over the Z icon) while a Zscrpit is running, and it’ll pause. Move your mouse out of the top corner and it’ll start again.
Experiment and see.

I looked around in the preferences but I couldn’t find a speed control for the ZScripts – I would love to be able to slow them down, the better to take in what’s happening. On my 2.6, the events just whizz by!

Yeah, and you can set the ZScript palette>Repeat Show Actions slider to be sure you don’t miss what’s happening.
Also, if I remember correctly, if you pause the script as above, clicking the mouse will progress the script one action at a time.
Hey guys …is there any way you can skip parts of a Zscript so you dont have to sit there for an hour to get to the bit you need to see ???
You can’t skip a zscript because it’s not like a video; it is actually modeling or painting the object, so it has to go through all the steps. You can speed it up though. In the ZScript menu you can switch off Show Actions, and switch on Skip Notes, Minimal Stroke and Minimal Update.
