Hello. Can someone explain me what the author of this tutorial means in around 6:00 minute of this video:

He says “tap out of your mesh”? Does it mean click outside of it? I have tryied clicking, double clicking, left, right button, key modifiers… nothing… Im not getting the new geometry like he does. Can someone translate what he ment?
