Finally done with the tattoos! I started working on this last year, but the process was so draining that I had to take weeks off in between sessions. Now I can move on to rigging and posing the character!
First, I projected the tattoos from reference photos on top of the model in ZBrush, then drew on a separate layer using a custom brush in Mari.
The hair was done using XGen, and the scene was rendered using Arnold GPU in Maya.
