Just had a bit of freetime and decided to make a nextgen character for my portfolio. Wanted to make a realistic, present day character and decided to go with Tom cruise from War of the worlds.
(it was just quick to get refs)
Anyways here are some shots of the hi res model, it’s still WIP

You leave yourself very open to scrutiny when you try to make a model of a famous face.
IMO you did a great job, would love to see some comparisons to the photos you used as reference. Either way it’s a good model!

GregStrangis: Thanks dude, great work on your website. yeah man his nose is something, took me ages to get it right and I still don’t think it is quite there yet.
Restorer: Thanks man, will have a look at the points you have mentioned, I will probably do another pass on the head once the rest of the character is complete.
tobbeo: Thanks dude, yeah I know, modeling celebrities is a huge challenge a small error and the resemblance is completely off. I will post some pics that I used for ref soon.
