Tips on how to achieve pattern from ref photo

What is the best way to create perfectly aligned triangle designs on this purple sleeve? (See ref photo behind — the yellow/purple pattern) I kind of want to sculpt the pattern in, but I want to make sure each triangle pattern is symmetrical and aligned equally.

Lots of ways to do that. I would subdivide first, then use a triangle alpha and use radial symettry with drag rect to pull it out.
