Tips for easily grooming FiberMesh hair fibers.

EDIT : I feel I’ve been a bit hasty when uploading the first 4 videos named “How to easily groom hair in ZBrush” since they are a bit messy, so I’m putting the newer (and much better) ones in front of the older ones and I may delete the older ones in the near future.

SO : here’s PART 1 of the new ones :

Also have recorded a video that covers all the FiberMesh MODIFIERS.
In order to use Fibermesh efficiently, you really need to know about all of them.

Hope you like it …

FiberMesh Modifiers explained :

Important to note when adjusting the Gravity settings of FiberMesh in ZBrush, is that the position of the geometry on your screen will determine in what direction the gravity will “pull” the fibers!

AND : FiberMesh is NOT a REGULAR PolyMesh3D subtool which has some important consequences as demonstrated in the following video.
In that video I also demonstrate how to export curves for use in modo.

NOTE : That I made a mistake in the video : when using the Standard brush, then “Preserve Length” DOES have an effect, so with it set to zero, the Standard brush makes the fibers bigger, and with it set to 100, the Standard brush does not make the fibers bigger!!!
